Undergraduate students can take advantage of the services offered by the SCSU Career Center.
Online MBA students have access to an executive coach with 30-plus years of experience for resume building, interview coaching and more. Your professors will have virtual office hours for you to consult with them directly. The HBS Advisory Council is comprised of alumni and influential regional, national, and global business leaders, providing long-lasting benefits to our students, the faculty, the school, university, and to industry. Through their dedication, involvement, participation and interaction the members of the HBS Advisory Council play a vital role in ensuring the ongoing success, growth and vitality of the school by supporting our mission in the areas of education, research, and service.
Plus, the Central Minnesota Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is accessible to online students.
Technology Services
D2L Brightspace is the online learning management system (LMS) used by all Minnesota State campuses, including St. Cloud State.
Each course with an assigned instructor is automatically provided with a web-based “shell” within D2L Brightspace that instructors can use to enhance face-to-face, blended or fully online courses. Course materials that can be added to the course shell include files (e.g. syllabus), announcements, quizzes, surveys, assignment folders, gradebook and more.
The platform includes an orientation that serves as a resource throughout the life of your online program, with access to quantitative background material.

Financial Aid
St. Cloud State University offers a single, integrated website for information and assistance about billing and payments, financial aid, registration, student records and transcripts, degree evaluation, and other enrollment-related services.

Library Services
In order to access databases or request books from the University Library, you will need to activate your StarID. Use your StarID and password to search for articles using LibSearch or another database listed on the Research Databases page. Download full text articles, if available.
If an article is not owned by our library, submit an Interlibrary Loan form either through the database or from the Interlibrary Loan page. Please indicate that you are a distance learner in the “Comment” section of the form. SCSU students are not charged for this service. Watch for notification of electronic delivery in your email account. If the article cannot be delivered electronically, we will mail a photocopy to your home, free of charge.
To access books from our collection, use LibSearch to search for your topic. From your results list, limit to books and eBooks by clicking on the Resource Type > Books link.
To access eBooks, use your StarID and password. To request a physical book from LibSearch, click on Get It and then Resource Sharing. Indicate that you are a distance learner in the “Comment” section of the form. Send the request form.
To request a book from the WorldCat catalog, click on the title of the book and then the Find It @ SCSU button. Click on the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) link. Enter your StarID and password. To have the book delivered to your home, you must indicate that you are a distance learner and would like delivery to your home in the “Comment” section of the ILL form. The library will pay for the cost of one-way delivery to your home. You will be responsible only for the cost of mailing the book back to the library before the due date, using the pre-addressed return label that accompanies the book.
